What is a CMS

CMS stands for content management system. It is a working website with an admin panel, so you can edit pages, photos, and texts yourself — without touching code or layout.

We set it up so the team can run the site day to day. People with no web-development background can keep content up to date. It is also a practical tool for support, publishing, and promotion: small changes do not require a developer each time.

Without a CMS, even a tiny copy tweak means calling a programmer. Why does a site need an engine? Because that is what makes normal, independent work possible.
